The Project
Logo redesign for SwampHacks X.
Founded in 2015, SwampHacks has been hosting hackathons for students for 10 years. Over the 2024-25 school year, I was on the Marketing Team as a Director for the first in-person hackathon since 2020. In this role, I worked with a team to advertise the event and give the hackathon a new look for its 10th year.
I reimagined the organization's logo, created social media posts, and designed stickers and other collateral to promote and decorate the event held in January. During the event, I captured photo and video content to highlight the event and keep hackers excited for another year of SwampHacks.
The Approach
For the design aspects of this role, I used Illustrator and Procreate. These elements included the logo, banners, maps, badges, social media profile images, and retro technology drawings. For social media posts, I utilized Figma due to its collaborative space for my team and I.
